Rumi is the founder of Resilience Pelvic Health in Calgary. She is a Pelvic Floor Specialist and has
been treating pelvic floor conditions since 2009. She holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the
University of Calgary and a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto. Prior to 2009, she practiced sports medicine physiotherapy, treating men, women and children with
orthopaedic injuries.
Resilience Pelvic Health is a practice dedicated to treating women with lower urinary tract
symptoms and pelvic floor conditions. Rumi has extensive experience treating women of all ages and is skilled to treat all pelvic floor conditions; however she
has additional training and interest in the following areas:

Rumi uses a biopsychosocial framework in her practice. This comprehensive approach includes a thorough history, questionnaires, a biomechanics assessment,
education, behaviour modification, manual therapy, acupuncture, sleep training, cognitive behavioral
therapy, central nervous system techniques and exercise prescription.
A true lifelong learner, Rumi continually pursues evidence-based post-graduate courses as a way to
further her education and serve her clients better.
